HCIS 2018: The 2018 KIPS-CSWRG International Workshop on Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS 2018 Workshop)

Call for papers
In Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS), KIPS-CSWRG plans to publish high quality papers which cover the various theories and practical applications related to human-centric computing and information sciences. In HCIS 2018 workshop, the published papers are expected to present results of significant value to solve the various problems with application services and other problems which are within the scope of HCIS. In addition, we expect they will trigger further related research and technological improvements relevant to our future lives. These are the hot topics that will satisfy the ever-changing needs of a world-wide audience. In approximately 5 to 10 years the editors plan to include new emerging topics to HCIS 2018 scope, in order to make the workshop reflect future generations' IT related human-centric computing and information sciences.

HRH 2018

Call for papers
Currently, a diverse innovative technology is being used in multimedia and ubiquitous computing environments. They allow us to create a better world by providing the backbone for remarkable development in our human society where the fields of industry, business, education, government functions and healthcare or medicine are becoming more and more complex and sophisticated faster than ever before. Thus, in this workshop, the our main object is to open a discussion over a basic convergent study that would contribute to humanity by respecting human beings and their lives, while aiding and serving the neglected or isolated people. For this purpose, we'd like to receive a variety of meaningful and valuable manuscripts concerning the subjects such as healthcare service respecting human beings and their lives, an ethical solution to artificial intelligent and Big Data, means of aiding and serving neglected people like the disabled or elderlies, mathematical theories that deeply affect science and industries, or the historical contents that would contribute to humanity in cultural aspect. For the last subject, one could write a manuscript about Guilin as it has been a historic city for many years in Chinese history, for example. In other words, what we are seeking in this workshop is the novel and fresh (non-published) manuscripts in which various ideas are being integrated and fused. Participants may write about one of the subjects listed below but not limited to them.

JIPS 2018 Workshop

한국정보처리학회는 심포지엄, 워크샵 및 저널 등을 통해 IT 분야에 대한 새로운 아이디어, 문제 및 해법 등을 의논하고 지식을 공유할 수 있는 장을 마련하고자 매년 국제 학회, 심포지엄 및 워크샵을 개최하고 있습니다. 일환으로 한국정보처리학회 산하 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 연구회에서는 2018년 8월 21일에서 23일까지 제주에서 BIC 2018 국제 컨퍼런스를 개최합니다. 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 연구회 박두순 위원장님을 필두로 많은 교수님들과 관계자분들께서 행사 준비를 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 특히 이번 컨퍼런스에서는 학교, 연구기관, 정부기관뿐만 아니라 기업체와의 연구 및 협력에도 많은 준비를 하고 있습니다. 그래서 아래와 같이 특별 섹션을 마련하였사오니 많은 참여를 부탁드립니다.

논문모집분야
본 워크샵에서는 컴퓨터 과학 전반적인 분야의 최신 연구내용을 담은 양질의 논문들을 모집하고 있습니다. 새로운 기술, 또는 개념, 분석들을 소개하는 이론적 연구나 실제 시스템의 구현 경험이나 실험들을 소개하는 응용 연구 논문들을 주로 모집하고 있습니다. 논문 범위는 통신 시스템, 멀티미디어 시스템, 통신 시스템, 정보 시스템으로 세부적인 범위는 JIPS 저널 웹사이트(http://jips-k.org/aimsscope)에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

Wellness 2018 : The 2018 International Workshop on Wellness Technology and Services for Future Life Care

Call for papers
Recently, people have been paying more attention to care their health status. Patients’ frequent visit to hospitals for regularly medical examination and consultation is inevitable. With the development of wearable and mobile healthcare technologies, healthcare cost and burden of frequent and inconvenient visits to the clinic can be alleviated and the quality of people's life can be enriched. Wellness technology is currently one of the hottest research topics in the area of smart and mobile device based new healthcare system focusing on the integration and cooperation of two fundamental disciplines (Information & Communication Technologies and Medical Sciences) that have a great impact on the current society. Continuous health status monitoring of individual’s physiological state and activity patterns, tracking of individual’s health-related activities, smart management of medical records and care professional’s activities are just some examples of system features. This conference provides an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of wellness service including models and systems, new directions, novel technologies and applications associated with the utilization and acceptance of with smart healthcare systems that would help users to strengthen their health promotion.

International Workshop on Financial Technology and Security 2018

Call for papers
Financial technology (FinTech) is the new technology that aims to compete with traditional financial methods with a great impact on whole of society. With the development of elecommunications and internet technologies, financial services have an opportunity to get closer to consumers than ever before. Many financial institutions understood the opportunity and launched mobile-oriented programs from notifications services to full-fledged banking services. User experience, development, implementation and security are emerging as new concerns and are being followed by new services addressing them. The event will bring together an opportunity to share ideas of academic and industry professionals about recent progress in the financial technology space, including systems and models, applications and services, novel technologies, and security issues.
