The 2023 International Workshop on Emerging Information and Communication Technology (Emerging ICT 2023) will be held in Jeju, Korea, August 16-18, 2023.
The Emerging ICT 2023 will be the most comprehensive workshop focused on Emerging ICT including Internet of Things, Blockchain, Metaverse, Digital Twin, Security, Quantum information, Smart healthcare, and so on.
The Emerging ICT 2023 provides an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and trends in the area of Emerging ICT.
Moreover, the workshop will publish high-quality papers which are closely related to the various theories and practical applications in Emerging ICT. We expect that the workshop and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in those important subjects.
Papers presented in the Emerging ICT 2023 will be included by BIC 2023 Conference PDF proceeding (without ISSN/ISBN)*.
**Outstanding papers will be recommended to international journals indexed by SCI/E or SCOPUS.

Step 1: Workshop Process

1. We will NOT send authors of the non-registered papers the comments.
Paper Submission Due: Jul. 10, 2023
Author Notification: Jul. 25, 2023
Registration Due: Aug. 4, 2023
Camera Ready Due: Aug. 7, 2023
Conference Dates: Aug. 16-18, 2023
*Only the first page of each paper will be included in the BIC 2023 Conference PDF Proceedings (without ISSN / ISBN).
**If the accepted papers want to be included Springer-LNEE, authors must submit their papers in LNEE proceedings format within 6-12 pages in length. Conference proceedings is planned to be published by LNEE.
2. When you prepare a paper for the SI submission, authors MUST revise and improve the paper based on review comments for each journal format.
- We will NOT send authors of the non-registered papers comments.
Step 2: Journal Process for SIs

* Open access journals or online first publication will be published by the due dates.
* The offline publications depends on schedule of the publisher.
* We are not responsible for the quality of recommended paper in the journals.
* Emerging ICT 2023 registration DOES NOT include recommended SI' s APC.

Authors should submit a regular paper within 2~6 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references.
**If authors will NOT use our format, the paper will be rejected without review process**.

Proceedings and Special Issues
*********************************
All accepted and registered papers will be included in the BIC 2023 Conference CD Proceedings (without ISSN / ISBN).
- All accepted papers will be published only 1(first) page.
- Authors must request by mail if they wish to have all pages published.
After closing the workshop, excellent papers will be recommended to:
1) SCIE journal (Best papers)
- Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS) - KIPS-CSWRG(SCIE)
** The best paper will be recommended to HCIS journal**.
2) SCOPUS journal: JIPS (~50% ranked papers)
** The authors MUST submit regular paper according to the rules of the journal.
** Non attendees paper will NOT be recommended to the journals.
** JIPS recommended authors will be provided APC discounts (30~40% for fast track submissions).
